R.Marquez writes both mystery and thriller novels and short stories. She is presently working on a novel titled "Astray in Couper" and the outline of the second book titled "BlueBeard in Couper." The last book in the trilogy is tentatively titled "Cryptic in Couper."

All her stories, whether mentioned or not, are set in or around the small city of Couper, Washington which exists in the dark recesses of the author's mind.
